Colokan, Kansas

A ghost town in Kansas. Colokan was a community in Greeley County, Kansas, United States. Located roughly half-a-mile from the Colorado–Kansas border, it was founded in 1886 by a group of 42 Civil War veterans from Murphysboro, Illinois, as a soldiers' colony.
