THE SÉANCE
Q&As with the people who make horror
Once in a while, we sit somebody down at the table: a director, an effects artist, a scream queen, a legend: and the whole community gets to ask. Questions gather on the board ahead of time; the guest answers live in their own thread. No moderators reading softballs off cards. Your questions, their answers, on the record forever.
🕯
How a sitting works: the guest is announced on the board · members drop questions in the summoning thread · at the appointed hour, the guest joins and answers live · the thread stays up forever as part of the record.
🕯 The Sittings
One guest, the whole circle asking.
Made horror? Sit with us. Directors, producers, FX artists, actors: if your work is on the film shelf, you can host a sitting. Message @LandonXXL on the board.
🎤 From the Room
Premiere and festival Q&As, filmed from the seats. Most people never get into these rooms. Here is what the actors, directors and producers said when they did.
Guests speak for themselves. The circle is respectful or the circle is closed. House rules apply.
