6 locations on the HorrorMeet Atlas.
- Piazza C.L.N., Turin
This Fascist era square with its twin river fountains is where Marc lives and where he witnesses the killing of the psychic Helga. The Blue Bar was a set built in the square for the film, modelled on Hopper's Nighthawks, and it no longer exists.
- Villa Scott, Turin
Pietro Fenoglio's Art Nouveau villa on Corso Giovanni Lanza played the Villa of the Screaming Child, the setting for the film's climax. It is privately owned and can only be looked at from the street, so view it from the sidewalk and do not approach the gate.
- Teatro Carignano, Turin
Helga Ulmann's parapsychology lecture, the scene where she senses the killer in the audience, was staged in Turin's oldest theatre. The Carignano is still a working playhouse and runs behind the scenes tours.
- Galleria San Federico, Turin
Marc and Carlo walk and talk through this 1933 shopping arcade, which also housed the offices of the La Stampa newspaper. The gallery and its cinema are still open to the public.
- Mausoleum of Santa Costanza, Rome
Marc rehearses with his ensemble inside this fourth century circular mausoleum on the Via Nomentana. It is open to visitors and its original ceiling mosaics survive.
- Museo delle Arti e Tradizioni Popolari, Rome
The folklore library where Marc digs into the legend of the haunted house is this ethnographic museum in Mussolini's EUR district. It is now part of the Museo delle Civilta and is open to the public.
