Where was IT (2017) filmed?
7 locations on the HorrorMeet Atlas.
- Capitol Theatre
The Derry movie house where Richie ditches his friends for the arcade, and where his grown-up flashbacks hit in Chapter Two. A working 1930 cinema, so buy a ticket and sit where the Losers sat.
- The Quality Meats Alley
The alley beside Gould's Footwear is where Mike Hanlon's burning-hands vision hits and where Ben gets patched up after Henry Bowers carves him. The Derry mural was left in place.
- Beverly's Apartment Door
Queenies Bake Shop stood in for the street entrance to Beverly Marsh's apartment above the Derry pharmacy. Grab a pastry, then look up at the windows.
- Derry Public Library
Port Hope's 1850s Town Hall played the Derry Public Library where Ben digs into the town's ugly history of disappearances. Still an active municipal building.
- The Neibolt Street House Lot
The rotting house at 29 Neibolt Street was built from scratch on this vacant Oshawa corner, then torn down after filming. Nothing left but the lot where Pennywise's well house stood.
- Elora Quarry
The flooded limestone quarry where the Losers strip to their underwear and cliff-jump, right before Ben clocks Beverly. A real conservation area you can swim in during summer.
- The Kissing Bridge
Ontario's last covered bridge doubled as the Derry Kissing Bridge, where Ben carves the H for Beverly. Built in 1881 and still open to traffic.
