• Bergen Street station, Brooklyn

  The nightmarish subway sequence was shot on the abandoned lower level of this IND Culver Line station, which had to be re-tiled to look in service. The lower platforms are still closed to the public.

• Seaview Hospital, Staten Island

  Hospital corridors were shot at the former Seaview tuberculosis hospital. Much of the complex is derelict and it is a designated landmark.

• Essex County Veterans Courthouse, Newark

  Used for the courthouse scenes during the New York area shoot that began in September 1989. It is a working county courthouse.
