Filming locations
Where was Jaws (1975) filmed?
4 locations on the HorrorMeet Atlas.
- Joseph Sylvia State Beach
Amity Beach itself, where the Kintner boy paddles out on his yellow raft and the crowd stampedes out of the water. The shoreline sat much closer to the road in 1974.
- The Jaws Bridge
Officially the American Legion Memorial Bridge, this is where the shark slips into the estuary while Michael Brody is in the water. Locals still jump off it all summer.
- Edgartown Town Center
The Main and Water Street corner that played downtown Amity, where Brody buys supplies to make the beach-closed signs. The storefronts look almost untouched.
- Quint's Shack, Menemsha
The working fishing harbor where Quint's shark-jawed shack stood and the Orca tied up. The building at the inlet is the Menemsha Galley now.
