3 locations on the HorrorMeet Atlas.
- Fornells, Menorca
The whitewashed fishing harbour of Fornells on Menorca's north coast is the mainland port from which Tom and Evelyn set out for the island of Almanzora. Fornells is still a working harbour village.
- Sitges, Catalonia
The seaside scenes in the crowded Spanish resort that opens the film were shot in Sitges, south of Barcelona. The town later became home to Spain's biggest fantasy and horror festival.
- Ciruelos, Toledo
Much of the deserted island village, far from any sea, was actually the inland town of Ciruelos in Toledo province. It remains a small working agricultural town.
