What was said

Too Tight to Move is the Winchester Brothers' own short, premiered at the festival they run. A man driving across the country to see his girlfriend stops at a massage parlor and ends up trapped in a mechanical massage chair.

Chris Lucchi wore the prosthetic eye all day and said it started to feel like part of him. Kelsi Davies explained that she crossed out the victim's name, Louis, everywhere it appeared in her script and wrote "project" instead, because to her character the whole thing is an art project. The panel was asked whether Gregory is the mastermind; the answer was that something happened to Gregory, and he is not well.

The biggest news: it is not a one-time occurrence. Tristan Winchester said he and Kelsi are about to start writing a feature, taking the idea beyond the massage parlor. He credited the cast for meeting up before the shoot to build their relationships, and called Kelsi an improviser who did things that were not in the script. It was a three-day shoot. Producer Josh Vanbatenburg said day one was an overnight, and that having twelve hours to shoot three pages was a luxury. The chair, he added, is very heavy; he and Tristan had just moved it out of a U-Haul.

Gavin Winchester said it was his first time shooting a film with his brother, and Tristan told the story of meeting Josh on Threads in 2025 and how that pulled him back into filmmaking and toward growing the festival every year. The audience asked about the giant spoon (it came from a dream, and from spoon therapy he learned about in a massage parlor lobby). Chris said a YouTube dating show once claimed he could not play a dead body, so he did not move a muscle. And the room on set went completely silent the first time they watched the eyeball scene on the monitor.
