PC Longplay [248] Alone In The Dark

Launched in 1992, this is game is truly a pioneer. It's probably the first game the successfully merged the action games and puzzle focused adventures and the first game (if I'm not incorrect) that merged 3D characters with 2D hand drawn backgrounds. It's thought mostly relevant for being an obvious inspiration for Resident Evil, which is probably the game that altered the industry and lead it to more story focused games. As far as the longplay goes, I was quite informal in the beginning so I could show a bit more of the game (it just shows the female character and the Game Over sequence)...
