Filming locations
Where was Peeping Tom (1960) filmed?
3 locations on the HorrorMeet Atlas.
- Newman Passage, London
Mark follows his first victim down this narrow covered alley off Rathbone Street with the camera running under his coat. The passage is a public right of way in Fitzrovia and looks much as it did in 1960.
- The Newman Arms, London
Dora takes Mark up to her room above this Fitzrovia pub, where he films her death. The Newman Arms is still trading at 23 Rathbone Street.
- Melbury Road, Kensington
Mark's house, with the darkroom and the home movies of his father's experiments, was 5 Melbury Road. Number 5 was demolished and replaced by a block of flats, though its neighbour at number 7 and Michael Powell's own house at number 8 still stand.
